Rebecca Marley
Surrey born and raised, Becky wanted a shoot that shows her London roots alongside her love of tropical plants and her growth mindset. We had a wonderful couple of days in London getting to know each other and having a laugh, whilst we took a huge bank of photographs, for Becky's website and social media posts. This portrait shoot was part of a wider brand identity that you can read more about on my branding page.
Sylvie, Sassy with Sylvie
Sylvie is a financial advisor with a difference; she’s on a mission to help other neurodiverse business owners get Sassy with their money! She helps you understand your numbers and come up with a business strategy that takes your current position, where you have come from and where you want to go to into account. She geeks out over numbers and spreadsheets so you don't have to! Sylvie found me via Linked In and travelled all the way from Derby for a studio photoshoot with someone she knew would totally get her vibe!
Ali Sea
Ali is an incredibly strong and independent woman. She may be teeny, but she's a tough cookie, a huge feminist and will always fight for what she believes in - for herself, her kids and for her clients! When it comes to social work, she knows her stuff. This shoot was all across the same morning - we started at 7:00am to shoot Ali on the beach at sunrise, then headed into Newcastle to get some shots from the iconic quayside and finally, outside the courthouse where Ali spends a lot of her working time.
Bonnie Milnes
Bonnie is a multi talented actress and singer / song writer based in Leeds. She's in a band and as a solo artist she's known as Bonneville.
This studio shoot was in Feb 2025, in Leeds at my friends Lens Lab studio's city centre location. We had Jonathon Turner as my lighting tech and the fabulous Lucy, of
Styling is my Medicine styling the shoot.
Happi Rose
Rose is a hugely skilled illustrator and independent shop owner based in Blackpool.
She is fun, colourful, quirky and a little bit too obsessed with Mr Blobby! I love how this portrait shoot captures Rose’s cheeky nature. If you are ever in Blackpool, do go and give her shop ‘Happi Place’ a visit - I promise you'll come out smiling!
Sophie, The Creative Incubator/Super Seconds Festival
Sophie is powerhouse of an entrepreneur. If you are an indie maker or run a service-based small business in the UK, you’ve probably heard of her! A planning and operations expert with extensive experience of launching new projects, managing teams, pricing services, monitoring progress plus running her own small creative business. She’s also the brains behind Super Seconds Festival a bi-annual online market that she thought up in the middle of lock down after screenprinting a whole pile of t-shirts that went ever so slightly wrong!
Nettie, GB Creative
Nettie is a highly skilled graphic designer and meticulous art worker, with incredible attention to detail, who is based from home in Leeds.
She wanted her shoot to feel casual, warm and cosy and welcoming. We used the famous Farsley Mill (from of The Great British Sewing Bee) as a backdrop to this photo shoot, a sit's local to Nettie's house and she sometimes from works from there. Along with Nettie's beautiful home - and her cute cat Betsy joined in too!
Claire, Maptatsic
Claire is an independent geospatial trainer and consultant focussed on Ecology and the Environment Sector There’s nothing Claire loves more than showing people how to mess about with maps! Of course, it’s not just the map output; it’s the journey of how they got there. Claire came to me wanting some professional shots done for her website and Linked In pages. Having never had a professional shoot done before, she was understandably a little nervous at the start. However, although we’d only ever met online before - within 15 minutes I’d got her warmed up and being a her silly self! I think these shots really show her fun mischievous character and of course, her love of maps!
Kiki
Well, what can I say about the stunning Kiarah? It's pretty much impossible to get a bad shot of this beautiful being! (And I should know, I've known her since she was teeny). We've done several shoots together over the years and this studio shoot for my jewellery brand ‘Shimmy Shimmy Yay’ was my all-time fave. The work we've created together has helped Kiki land many high-profile modelling roles.
Ebony, Dotty Black
Ebony is an incredible greetings card designer, maker and illustrator based in Northumberland. She runs her gorgeous brand Dotty Black alongside freelance design work. She's got fantastic style and is extremely photographic, we met in Manchester, using the colourful street art to be a backdrop for our candid natural light photoshoot.
Foxxtailz
This photoshoot was six, maybe even seven years ago! I was working as a Creative Content Producer for a local TV network, taking lots of photographs in-house, but I really wanted to do something more creative and on my own terms. With this in mind, I reached out to local alternative fashion blogger Jess and asked if she wanted to do a collab! Of course she said ‘yes’ and the rest is history!
